For the purpose of this manual, please assume that the Bika LIMS installation has been set-up in standard configuration and populated with the static data required, analytical services and their parameters, etc

Setting up Bika LIMS 2 is discussed in detail at the end of the manual, so as not to confuse readers at the outset
