Why can't I see the status drop-downs in Bika?

When I hover over the status menu drop-down at top right of the work area on Analysis Request, Job card or Order pages, I don't see the advance status options. What do I need to do? Upon clicking the target area I am shown a 'Publishing process' page
The first thing you should look for is whether you have Java installed and JavaScript enabled
An easy tool to check your version of Java, settings etc, is available from http://java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml
If you have JavaScript enabled and the problem persists, follow the additional steps shown at the above link
The process described, helped one of our clients to find a cookie in his temporary internet files folder blocking the use of JavaScript
