New Open Source LIMS discussion group
The Bika user list developed two distinct streams, sharing installation issues and another on general functionality. The first got too technical for many lab managers and LIMS analysts, and a Bika Open Source LIMS Analysis and Design discussion group has now been set up to continue these threads in layman terminology
Bika also maintains two other public lists, for Developers and Bika Health LIMS, focussing on programming and public health LIMS/LIS functionality respectively
Please subscribe to the Analysis and Design group from the Join link on its home page if you want to track discussion and participate. Contact Bika at info@bikalabs.com for assistance if necessary
The group is intended to discuss LIMS functionality in plain English. Typical upcoming subjects include ISO 17025 accreditation, Inter-laboratory proficiency testing and more. All feedback will be considered for future Bika releases, proving again that Open Source transparency leads to best of breed solutions
Thank you for your participation
