Bika Wine 1.1 came under review by SANAS, the South African National Accreditation Body for laboratories, at BBK recently and its accreditation friendly features are currently being fine tuned to comply in full

As expected Bika's security and authorisation system passed with flying colours,  customisation required centres around reporting titration volumes, factors and measure of uncertainty per analysis and intercept

More of the timestamps and user actions logged in the background by Bika thus far, are being added to those already displayed on Analysis Requests, Results e-mails and Work sheets

Accreditation ready Bika Wine 1.2 is expected to go into production at BBK towards the end of May 2006

Vintage 2006 is in full flow in the Western Cape. To enhance performance, BBK's 200 000 object database was converted to Bika 1.1 earlier and has been performing admirably since.
