Open sourced Bika Wine 1.2 has been released and is now available for download from Sourceforge (https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=145464)

Bika Wine1.2 is the latest release of Bika's LIMS branch for the wine and beverages industry and is ISO 17025 ready - BBK laboratory, Worcester, South Africa, has already been accredited using Bika Wine 1.2

In revised Bika implementation methodology, all Bika branches are customised as skins to Bika's generic trunk, Bika LIMS. Bika LIMS 1.2 has been released with improved functionality recently

For Bika Wine, sample attributes were customised to wine laboratory requirement: Cultivar, Vintage and Tank number. The file format for importing analysis results is configured to fit that of the popular Foss WineScan™. Bika Wine can easily be customised further through the Plone Schema editor
