PPECB put the migration of their old website and additional development up for tender in November 2009 and selected Bika Lab Systems as service provider

In the four month long Phase 1 of the project, all milestones were delivered on time, and we are awaiting future phases which will expand PPECB's move to web-enable all their client and supplier functions

The main deliverables for this project were:

Migration of the current layout and content from Microsoft Sharepoint to Plone 3 at www.ppecb.com

Development of a Event Management system that allows event visitors to register through the site, which will form part of a future Bika 'Village' release
Development of a FTP driven file download system of Ship temperature logs, recording exported fruit's temperature

Development of a service application environment that will allow clients to apply for various services such as; Statutory Services, Food Safety Services, Certifications and Laboratory Services

Bika Lab Systems continues to support and train PPECB personnel
