Intelligent laboratory information management. Bika Mail 1
You too must be hurtling through the Xmas traffic towards year end. I'll be short, herewith a brief update of our activities on the local LIMS front and some more

Bika Wine LIMS roll out - intelligent laboratory
information management
1st Bika wine lab installation is nearing completion to go into on-site
acceptance testing Tuesday 14 December at Breëriviervallei
Botteleringskoöperasie in Worcester. Rather exciting, roll on vintage
2005!
Upon this fresh design iteration, Bika now is a complete application
with all of the features promised by our on-line demonstration
accomplished, added accreditation friendliness and hosted on affordable
connections. Book your
demonstration now!
We migrated her onto the Plone content management platform, open source
and one of the most successful projects in the history of Zope.
Resulting in an elegantly simple user interface, in your browser of
choice, and with the benefit of being integrated in a proven framework
where existing solutions can be interfaced and lab information
be gathered centrally
Bika Application Service Provision
Apart from the Bika server edition going into production
now, most functionality and features are, as always, also
available in the Bika ASP solution, affordably based on a monthly
subscription, nominal fee per sample and a once off setup fee
Expanding capacity
Joris Goudriaan has joined us as Marketing and Sales Manager to neatly
boost our quiver of skills. Myself and Inus now have more capacity for
R&D and customer support. Joris can be reached at joris@bikalabs.com
Having closely monitored developments through 2004, we are beginning to
witness the swell of open source support evident in other parts for a
while already. Our strategic partners and Bika coders
are building capacity ahead of demand
New year resolutions
For www.bikalabs.com: brochures for download
detailing the Bika Server and ASP products, our business services and
an on-line installation of the new system
We wish you a Happy Happy 2005. Peace today
